What's Lunch On Us Mobile

SAP LunchOnUs Mobile is a TGIF project which developed by a small group of people who interested in mobile development.

Start from 2011, all SAP Vancouver employee got a lunch prepaid card to let us buy lunch around Yaletown area. Our SAP LunchOnUs Mobile is designed for this prepaid card to help our employee collect information and summarize their expense.

Features

  1. Transaction History: Let user keep track of daily expense and validate charge.
  2. List of Restaurant: Let user browse all participated Restaurant around Yaletown, plus their location, food menu and contact information.
  3. Chart: Let user keep track of burn-down and spending, so you can use your money wisely.
  4. Map: Shows all restaurants around our office and even provides a random restaurant selection by shaking the phone.

Prerequisites: Connect to SAP network

*only require in installation time, after that any 3G or WiFi networks can run our app.
  1. Open "Settings" on your iDevice
  2. Select "Wi-Fi" Networks
  3. Under "Choose a Network..." view, choose "SAP-Corporate" network.
  4. It requires you to enter username and password. Use your SAL_ALL login credential, the I or D or C number.
  5. Open the "SAP-Corporate" network detail page by tapping on the blue arrow at the right hand side.
  6. Scroll to the bottom under "HTTP Proxy" section, select "Auto" and enter URL "http://proxy:8083"
  7. Wait for couple seconds until your iDevice connect to the "SAP-Corporate" network successfully.

Install Over-The-Air:

  1. Download via SAP App Gallery or browse for more info about SAP Lunch On Us Mobile application.
    Note: Safari may complain about "Cannot Verify Server Identity", just click "Continue" to carry on!
    Note: if Safari complains about "Cannot Open Page", most likely you're not connect to the SAP network yet, read Prerequisites above for more detail.
  2. Click on "Install This App" button, read and choose "Agree & Download".
  3. Select your iOS version (note: for iOS5 device selected iOS 4.3 for now, it is fully compatible).
  4. Enter your SAL_ALL login credential, the I or D or C number and password.
  5. A pop up dialog ask you to confirm the installation, select "Install"
  6. If you're first time install SAP internal mobile product, your iDevice will ask you to accept SAP AG profile, just like accepting SSL certificate on any web browser. "Accept" it.
  7. Waiting for couple minutes to let the download process finished and you're done, enjoy!
